Book your place in our workshops and make your own custom rug/artwork for walls and floors.
Do you have your masterpiece in mind? Looking to book onto a workshop? Check out our Do’s and Don’ts for tufting with us, book onto a workshop and then send us your design! You can also choose from preset designs that can be made in your chosen colour palette, just let us know which design and the shades you would like to change it to! We sketch it out and you bring it to life. You will receive a proof of your design to ensure it is what you want to tuft and it will be drawn up on the frame, ready and waiting for you on the day!
Note - You must send your design 72 Hours before your booked workshop to ensure your design is possible. If you are within 72 Hours of a workshop, we cannot offer you a custom design, however you will still have the choice of preset designs to choose from and our in stock yarn colours.
We have many yarns to choose from however the sooner you submit your design the more options you’ll have for your yarn colours.
Tufting Workshop Options
25cmX25cm Tufting Workshop - £70
In this Workshop you will create a 25cmx25cm piece. Wall art only.
You'll have up to 3 hours to, tuft, glue, shave and finish your design, so that you may take it home the same day!

40X40cm Tufting Workshop - £105
In this Workshop you will create a 40cmx40cm piece.
You'll have up to 4 hours to, tuft, glue, shave and finish your design, so that you may take it home the same day!
The time allocated is to allow for varied designs, if your design is more complicated you may need the full allotted time, if it is simpler then you may require less.

60X60cm Tufting Workshop - £180
In this Workshop you will create a 60cmx60cm piece.
You have the choice to finish your tuft across a two day workshop - either in your own design or a preset one. You would have x2 3 hour workshops on separate days within one week to complete - Bookings must go via contact us page and please specify multiple preferred dates.
OR
You can complete a 3 hour workshop to complete the tufting of the design and then the Louka team will complete the glueing, shaving and finishing of your design, with collection required from the studio once completed.
The time allocated is to allow for varied designs, if your design is more complicated you may need the full allotted time, if it is simpler then you may require less.

Workshops start time vary – see calendar availability
· Welcome & Introduction to rug tufting
· Health & Safety Briefing
· Demonstration of how to use the cut-pile A K-1 Tufting Gun
· Choose your yarn colours from our varied selection, we have 100% wool and some alternative yarns for bright and bold colours
· Tuft your rug
· Enjoy a drink and snack for an interlude
· Glueing and securing your design
· A choice of backing and then on to a simple flat carve to finish
· If you would like your tuft ‘contouring’ we can arrange this, once you have finished the workshop, please ask for further details
Before Your Workshop
We require your choice of design once booked or a minimum of 72 hours prior to your workshop, so we can draw it up ready for you to tuft. (See our Do’s & Don’t info on the website)
